I love this storage ottoman can be used as a coffee table as well very easy to put together color just like the picture very comfortable to sit on it is perfect for my space and exactly what I was looking for good value for the moneyI bought two of these ottomans for my living room. They arrive in a box and all you have to do is screw on the four legs that come with it. Each leg has a screw coming out of it so all you have to do is turn each leg into one of the four holes on the bottom of the ottoman (ie no additional tools/hardware required for assembly). It also comes with 4 plastic/rubber "washers" that you put on as you screw/turn in the legs. This is where I ran into a problem. For BOTH of the ottomans I got, one of the four legs would NOT stay in when I turned/screwed it in with the washer! I would turn the leg in and it would never get fully tight and when I would turn the ottoman over the leg would fall out. I decided to try and remove the plastic 'washer' and try again. This time, without using the plastic 'washer' the leg was able to screw in more tightly and stays put. It was only 1 out of 4 of the legs that had this problem. BUT it happened for BOTH ottomans where 1 out of the 4 legs had this problem! The second ottoman I put together I paid more attention and sure enough you could see that one leg doesn't have as long of a screw coming out of it so the washer creates too much of a gap for the screw to catch and screw-in tightly (see photo). So once again I had to not use a washer for the leg with the shorter screw. All in all, I'm keeping them because they're staying put/sturdy for now, but if I wouldn't have tried it without the washer and gotten lucky, I would've been returning them. One other annoying this is that as you turn the legs in you have no idea how they're supposed to point. There is a definite slant on the bottom of the leg and I assume it is supposed to point outward so I tightened the legs to try and have it point outward but it definitely was not clear or straightforward how it is supposed to look. Also some of the legs never get fully tight, you can keep turning and turning and turning but they'll get tight, then loose, then tight. It's a minor issue, but it definitely makes me question the quality of the product. Having said all that I do like how they look. However, there is not much weight to them and they definitely don't feel sturdy enough to hold 300lbs! I'm just terrified a leg is going to fall/break off at any time. I would NEVER drag them with any type of weight on them as I'm convinced this would cause a leg to snap off. Long story short I would not purchase these again as I think they are over-priced for the lack of quality/sturdiness to them.Update as of 10/12/20--down voting to 2.5 starsSo what I feared happened. The leg with the shorter bolt will no longer stay in the hole. It keeps falling out. I have resorted to super gluing the bolt into the hole and it has now held for about a month but I definitely cannot move them or drag across the carpet for fear of it ripping out the leg. TO BE FARE, the company did send me an email after I originally posted my review. But the email just said "we understand you had problems with our product. Will you give us a chance to make it right?".....that was it. At the time the leg wasn't falling out so I just said "screw it" I'm not going to go through extra hassle/nuisance with a company that can't even offer a potential solution right off the bat. But now I might consider emailing them and seeing if they will send a replacement leg. I'll update my review accordingly if they do.Good quality. It compliments the decor perfectly and provides additional storage for blankets and pillows. The size was perfect for the space!Loved the firmness and the storage. It's united with 2 chairs that are the same color and style with chrome tabs .Per- fec- toe.I had placed an order on a storage bench before that was too small. I made the comment that the item was perfect but was too small if you only had a larger one. there it appeared I ordered and it is perfect. matches my chairs to a tee.This ottoman is sturdy, comfortable, good storage and looks nice!This product lives up to it's expectations in looks and quality. A very good purchase for the price.
